The owner in Avon, Indiana hired Modern Touch Contract to create a space for guests in their unfinished basement. The owner wanted a modern space with a bedroom, full bathroom, family room with fireplace, and a custom dry bar for their wine collection.
The Solution
Modern Touch Contracting created a modern basement for both the owner and their guests to enjoy. The living room has waterproof plank flooring that gives it an elegant white marble flooring look. The stone fireplace includes an electric fireplace that produces heat and gives the room a warm and modern feel and mounted above is a TV.
The bathroom has mosaic marble tile flooring, a pedestal sink, and stand in shower. Brown porcelain tiles on the wall give the walls a wood plank look. And the modern sliding barn doors complete the bathroom.
The custom bar is made to fit the space and has a wine rack in the middle with a small beverage refrigerator. The crowned out cabinetry, white quartz countertops, and brown glass tile complements the look and feel of the room.
