The Vision
A couple from Germany moved to Avon, Indiana, near Indianapolis, and wanted to bring their European and German lifestyle into their home and add a modern twist. They connected with Modern Touch Contracting to bring their vision to life.
The Solution
Modern Touch Contracting listened to the client’s wants and needs and helped form a plan for their dream European master bathroom. The outdated existing bathroom was completely gutted. Modern ceramic tiling was installed, ceramic tile walls, a ceramic tile shower with custom glass walls. The one-of-a-kind bathtub was a specially ordered tub from Germany. The bathtub jets produce microbubbles which are more soothing to the skin. The tub also has an aromatherapy reservoir that allows the owner to add essential oils into the tub. The bathroom hardware all came Hansgrohe in Europe.
The focal point of the European bathroom is the cabinets and mirror. The mirror is LED edge-lit, which is ideal for adding makeup. The mirror is also an inch thick —inside and out–allowing the mirrors to expand and be seen on both sides. The European modern floating cabinets finish the sleek look in the bathroom.
The toilet is a European bidet. The bidet runs by remote control and has an array of sensors. When entering the bathroom, the seat warms and opens automatically. When leaving the bidet, it automatically closes the lid, runs a clean cycle, and closes down.
