The client reached out to us for help with a potential insurance claim due to water damage in their master bathroom. They had lived in the home for many years but recently stopped using the master bathroom because the shower was leaking, resulting in visible water damage on the floor, walls, and ceiling below. Their vision was to restore the bathroom’s functionality and update the space to a more modern, fresh look.
The Solution
Our team conducted a thorough inspection and provided a detailed estimate to submit to the client’s homeowners insurance carrier. The claim was approved, covering the installation of a new vanity, countertop, full tile shower, flooring, and updated plumbing fixtures in the master bathroom. After discussing options, we agreed to complete the full repairs to the shower and flooring, while allowing the client to keep their existing vanity.
Impressed with the transformation, the client requested that we address a similar issue in their hallway bathroom, which was also leaking. For this bathroom, we retained both the vanity and tub. We replaced the flooring, removed and upgraded the tile surround around the tub, installed new plumbing rough-ins, added new vinyl plank flooring, and repaired wall imperfections, finishing with a fresh coat of paint.
