The Vision
The homeowner in Carmel wanted to add a garage that would provide additional storage and parking while blending seamlessly with their existing home. The goal was to create a functional expansion that looked original to the property — not like an afterthought. In addition to everyday parking needs, they wanted extra length inside the garage to allow room for stored items without crowding a parked vehicle.
The Solution
Modern Touch Contracting designed and built a single-door garage addition that perfectly matched the existing home’s exterior. A standard-sized window was installed to bring in natural light, and LED lighting was added throughout the interior for bright, energy-efficient illumination. A ceiling fan helps circulate air, improving comfort year-round.
The garage was constructed deeper than a typical single-car garage, providing valuable extra space for storage while still allowing easy vehicle access. An automatic garage door was installed in both the front and back for convenience, and additional exterior lighting enhances both security and curb appeal.
