The Solution
For the master bathroom, the existing layout included a six-foot-wide vanity, a built-in tub with a tub deck, and a separate walk-in shower. Working closely with our design services, the homeowners selected a beautiful new vanity, a freestanding tub, and large-format tile for both the bathroom floor and shower walls. To improve the space, we repositioned the tub, providing a more open and luxurious feel to the room.
One of the standout features of this remodel was the zero-entry threshold shower, ensuring a seamless and accessible design. We also installed new plumbing fixtures, including a diverter and a shower wand, enhancing convenience and functionality. To combat cold Indiana winters, we incorporated radiant floor heating, ensuring year-round comfort.
For the upstairs full bathroom, we redesigned the shower layout, opting for a larger shower and a slightly smaller vanity to maximize the space. The result was a bathroom that felt bigger and more practical. Additionally, we repaired and refinished the drywall and textured ceiling in the garage, eliminating the water damage issues.
To complete the project, we refreshed the master bedroom by removing an outdated faux fireplace mantel, patching and repainting the walls to match the new color scheme, and installing new carpet in both the bedroom and master closet.
