The Vision
As a passionate sports enthusiast, the homeowner wanted to transform his basement into the ultimate entertainment space—one that showcased his love for the game and created the perfect environment for hosting friends on game day. A custom bar was at the heart of the vision, along with space to display a wall of jerseys, comfortable seating, and a clean, modern look that felt both personal and high-end.
The Solution
Modern Touch Contracting delivered a fully customized Fortville basement bar installation designed around both function and fandom. Custom cabinetry was built in the homeowner’s favorite team color—Notre Dame blue (Pantone 289)—creating a bold focal point for the space. Quartz-Viatera countertops were installed on the bar island, featuring a generous overhang to provide plenty of seating for guests.
The kitchenette area was finished with stylish tile, while new carpet was installed throughout the rest of the basement for comfort. The bar includes a drink cooler, mini fridge, floating shelves, and a sink, making it fully equipped for entertaining. Behind the TV, an electrical niche was created to hide all wiring for a clean, streamlined appearance. LED lighting and accent side lighting were added to enhance the atmosphere, and the entire space was freshly painted to tie everything together.
